This is primarily a book on clinical tuberculosis which also includes current views on the peculiarities of epidemiology, evolution pathomorphosis and immunopathogenesis of tuberculosis from mono-to extensively drug resistant as well as the aspects of genetic constituent. The key constituents of current epidemic are highlighted: drug-resistant TB and multidrug-resistant TB, tuberculosis associated with HIV / AIDS. The book discloses the polymorphism role of xenobiotic metabolism genes in the pathogenesis of pulmonary tuberculosis.
