How does the individual school influence the professionalisation of teachers? Based on national and international research results on the professionalisation of teachers and the developmental capacity of schools and school systems as well as on the author's own empirical findings, the book examines the significance of the individual school for (the effect of) professionalisation processes. Based on this, the book elaborates consequences for the concrete design of the professionalisation processes of teachers.
