100 Jahre Hoher Meissner (1913-2013)

The year 2013 was reminiscent of the centenary of an early German Youth Festival on the Meißner near Kassel. The event in 1913 had an almost underestimated importance for a number of generations with experiences in the Youth Movement. Finally, the 'Meißnerformel' with its flags words 'own destiny', 'own responsibility' and 'inner truth' has been reinterpreted since 1913. The information compiled and annotated in this publication of sources to '100 years Meißner'-history takes into account the respective time horizon insights into facets of self-promotion of members of this social movement and their societal external perceptions. It invites you to ask critical questions of the history tothe youth movement and itsheritage in the 20th century.
