Little gray Butterfly is a story about a butterfly who lives in a country where everything is just gray. The butterfly feels that something is missing in his world. With that he starts the journey to find that something. On his way he makes a good friend. But can they find what they are looking for? A great story for Early Readers, Illustrated by a bilingual 3rd Grade class.

Born just south of Berlin, Caro Gerstmann started to write poems and short stories and in her teens. Ideas and Impressions for this poems and short stories are mostly taken from own experiences but more over from what she observed while working with kids and teens. Her work with children gave her the idea to have a third grade illustrate "Little Gray Butterfly" which was originally written for Early Readers.
