Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Arbeit, Betrieb, Organisation und Wirtschaft, Europäische Fernhochschule Hamburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Assessment center play an important role in todays business life. It can be a successful method to select and evaluate potential candidates for vacancies. Unfortunately group decisions made by the observance committee are not necessarily more successful than a decision made by a single person. Therefore this paper deals with the question how an assessment center should be organised to maximize the qualitative decisions made by the committee. Literature research is the base of this thesis work progress and leads to the final results of this assignment. The main focus lies on the phenomenongroupthink and the common knowledge effect.
